I think I like it!!! I've not had a bf top before though so got nothing to compare it to but I *hate* my nursing bras with a passion. I don't think it is as supportive as a proper bra but I'm not sure that bothers me particularly.
Also should have said I think they are very flattering (always a winner!) I was a bit worried it would be a bit clingy but it seems to minimise my flab rather than accentuate it. One of the main reasons I went for FM aot any other brand was a) it looked simple and b) long sleeve top with a V neck. Hadn't seen any others I liked.
Is there a big difference between the sizes? I got a 14 which fits fine but is quite roomy and I wondered if the 12 would be too tight or whether I could wear that too?
Sorry long waffle - you just asked about the supportiveness!

more information is always good
wrt the sizing, they are Australian sizes which seem to be a little bit smaller than UK sizes but not a lot, with the caveat of if you're more ample than a DD you need the next size up. You're welcome to try a 12 of course
but I suspect it might be just a teeny bit too snug.
I love the styling too. They've been redesigned though with elastic at the back and no pleats on the bust. I hope they still don't look so much like nursing tops, kwim?

Oh I hope they don't change too much, I can see me getting some more if I can find the money after my recent sling splurges!
