[attachment=1]Hello,
hope you dont think i'm bonkers but i've ordered a new storchy which the lady Tracy says should be with me tomorrow (Weds).

Im a bit nervous but excited as i have a ring sling which we (me and piglet) have not got on well with. I have done so much reading over last few days on other people's reviews/comments on the storchy.

what was that Storchenweige DVD someone said they got that it was very good?

I have been told that it comes with good instructions. I hope they are easy to understand!  I love cuddling and breastfeeding my piglet (he is a real human baby, nearly 8 months old - this is just my affectionate nickname for him!). (and no he does not look like a piglet - he is gorgeous!!) heheh!

anyway, just to say hello to y'all.

goodnite!

Thaty's no piglet, that's a very cute baby!! Hi Joanna/Piggy and welcome!

re the Storchenwiege DVD, I went looking for it after Josie's mention, I found one from Children's Needs in the US, but I don't know if it's region-free and/or PAL compatible, and I don't know if it's endorsed by Storch themselves. I'm looking into it though!

Hope you enjoy the sling, and do come back if you need any help. Oh and I'll pass on this link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Leicesters...=100151790 I'm sure there are some people fairly local to you on there Smile2
I'm pretty sure that the Storchenwiege DVD IS endorsed by Storchenwiege. So no worries there.

It shows a lot of different carries. It is playable in my DVD player (just cheapest one asda sold - 2y old now.).

My DD is the baby on the front! (How many times can I say that before people get bored!Smile2 )

I have both the childrens needs dvd, and also the storchenwiege dvd, they are both a valuable investment.

Of course the written instructions provided with your sling are fantastic too. But it's really nice to see someone else wrap, and you can pick up all sorts of hints and tips. I find the dvd's especially useful when picking out a new Storchenwiege for my (ever-growing) collection (got 4 now!!!:huhSmile2Big Grin

I like the dvd's because they show baby's of all different ages being wrapped too. There's some great stuff on getting neat knots on them too.

I'd say the children's needs dvd is comprehensive and longer than the Storchenwiege dvd, which is a quick-start helper. However, I picked up valuable tips from both, so I would advise to get both.Grin

Joanna, I hope you enjoy your new storch!
Thanks for that Josie, really useful to know!
