been a flippin' long afternoon!! Waited for my pot off, then for xrays, then for my clinic appointment...
had cursory glance from ortho doc, screw's in the right place (ha! I officially *don't* have a screw loose
) everything healing well...
got handed a bunch of paperwork so then I had to wait to get weighed and measured for my BMI, then I had to get a removable cast, then toddle to the physio dept, then round to the day surgery unit to book the appointment for the screw removal. Had a chat with a nurse who said they advised against breastfeeding for 24hrs post-op, to which I said 'uhuh' and I'll be making my enquiries soon
Now I'm sat with my cast off, yay, flexing my foot and watching the dead skin flaking up, eww...
And later I'm having a bath. Bliss.
